The delightful food, a stunning space and personal service allows the L’etoile team to customise function packages to suit any occasion. Formal degustation dining, flirty cocktails and canapes, special occasion parties, classy corporate events or just sheer indulgence – just call us with your function needs and we’ll take care of the rest while you sit back and relax till the big day itself.
Set in the heart of hip Five Ways Paddington, L’etoile Restaurant & Bar is an easy destination from all of Sydney – within walking distance from the eastern suburbs, 10 minutes from the city or a quick ride from the North Shore by public transport or taxi.
The restaurant has an indoor dining room and outdoor dining courtyard. The covered and heated sandstone-walled courtyard is the perfect setting for alfresco dining and can seat a maximum of 40 for a sit-down dinner or cater for 60 for a standing room only fabulous cocktail canapes party.
The intimate dining room and wine bar provides a great atmosphere for any party and can seat a maximum of 45 for a sit-down dinner. For exclusive hire of the whole restaurant (indoor and outdoor), we can cater for maximum of 70 for a sit-down dinner or 120 for a standing room only cocktail canapes function. Where exclusive hire is not required, both areas can also cater for large groups of 10-30 guests. Our Parisian-style footpath dining along Five Ways also offers great people-watching and a village vibe for casual dining.
We pride ourselves on making our guests feel like stars and we love bringing the personal L’etoile touch to both small & large parties. For groups of 10 and more, you can choose our set menu as listed below, or for the ultimate special private function event (exclusive hire of restaurant required), a custom designed menu by executive chef Manu Feildel and chef de cuisine Nicolas Liglet. Pair your function with fine wines from our superb French and Australian list and you’ll truly have an event to remember
